TroubleShooting your Restroom Trailer Problems

The Posh Privy works hard to ensure that each luxury restroom trailer is working at peak performance for each and every event. Unfortunately things can happen while the portable toilets are on site. Below we have included some of the issues and solutions that could potentially happen to any luxury bathroom. If you read through this troubleshooting guide and are still unable to fix the problem call/text us at 707-395-7674

No Lights

No Water

Climate Control Not Working

Out of Supplies

All of our restrooms come stocked with 3 rolls of toilet paper, dispenser of paper towels and dispenser of soap per stall/suite. Any supplies needed beyond that point will need to be provided by you. Using toilet paper that is overly fluffy can increase the chances of clogs; septic safe paper is not required.

Restroom is Smelly

Although we empty our tanks after each rental and regularly flush them there are many reasons why a restroom may be/become smelly...

Reason	Solution
Trailer was recently moved Not all contents are able to be removed from the tank at pump out	Allow trailer to sit undisturbed and smell will dissipate ​Add tank deodorizers
Trailer is being over used There are no p traps in the toilets, any time a toilet is flushed the stall is exposed to the air of the waste tank. Nonstop use will cause smells to seep into stall(s)	Encourage use of other restrooms to decrease valve openings Add air fresheners Add tank deodorizers
Emissions from the previous user	Air out the restroom by opening roof vents/windows Add air freshener Hold breath and use quickly
Long Term Clients: Trailer has been sitting for a long period If a trailer is in one place for extended periods a mound forms under the toilet chute that is unable to be cleared by simply pumping the trailer	Notify our office, we will complete an onsite flush or exchange the trailer
