Q: Do you rent porta potties?
A: The Posh Privy and Fancy Flush do not rent the traditional plastic portable toilets. One of our main benefits is that we focus exclusively on luxury executive restroom trailers. Doing so allows us to concentrate on making sure that each and every restroom is impeccably maintained and deliveries done to specification. We do however work with other porta potty companies which can help you meet your restroom requirements at no extra charge.
Q: Do you have shower trailers?
A: At this time The Posh Privy and Fancy Flush do not have any shower trailers, but it is something we are looking to add to our fleet in the future.
Q: How far in advance do I need to order my restroom?
A: During peak times of the year (April - October) we usually sell out of our restroom trailers weeks to months in advance. To ensure that you have a restroom reserved for your event we suggest to order as far in advance as possible. We highly recommend ordering your restroom trailer as soon as you finalize your event date and location so that you secure your restroom.
Q: Where can you place the restroom?
A: The Posh Privy and Fancy Flush restroom trailers can be placed just about anywhere. In general we require a 12ft height clearance, fairly flat/level ground, and a minimum of 10ft width so that your guests can comfortably navigate to the doors. Keep in mind the orientation of the doors, as of this writing all of our restrooms have the restroom doors facing the passenger side (right side when looking at it from the back) of the trailer.
Q: Can the restroom trailer be placed inside?
A: Trailers can be placed indoors as long as the access door is tall and wide enough for the trailer to safely pass. We also need enough room for the towing vehicle to set up, unhook and leave. If indoors or under a tent we suggest high roofs and to be placed near a window/opening so that ventilation of the trailer is not limited.
Q: Do I need water hook up?
A: All of our trailers have an on board water tank that can be filled up before delivery. The water tank should last your event under most conditions based on the guest and staff count. The water tank can be refilled if it runs out or the restroom is being used for longer periods. The Posh Privy 6 stall trailer will require a water source which is a standard garden hose hookup within 75ft. of where the trailer will be placed.
Q: Do I need power hook up?
A: All of our trailers (except The Posh Privy 6 stall) are solar powered with a battery. The solar power and battery can run the lights and water pump almost indefinitely under the proper conditions. Most of the bathrooms can also be plugged into a standard household plug to maintain the battery for long periods or in inclement weather. If the restroom you ordered has AC/Heat like our LUX series do we do need one 20a 120v household plug to run the climate control, keep in mind that none of our restrooms require power to run basic functions like lights or the onboard water supply. If no household plug is available The Posh Privy does have generators available for rent. The Posh Privy 6 Stall trailer will require a power source whether from the property or a generator.
Q: How many people can the restroom trailer handle?
A: Under the brief description of each trailer there will be a person capacity. This rating includes all guests and staff for up to 10-12 hours. The person capacity will be less for longer events or if your event has large amounts of alcohol and/or food.
Q: How much does it cost to rent a restroom trailer?
A: Though we don't publicly disclose our pricing in general our research indicates that restroom trailer rental costs between $1200-$4000 for most models as of this writing. When compared to a porta potty a restroom trailer is 3-4 times more per stall, but consider that the purchase price of a restroom trailer is 20 to 40 times more than a portable toilet. There are a few factors that may affect the total cost of your rental. The type of trailer you get, the delivery location, the delivery date/time are just some examples. Q: What is included in the price?
A: We like to keep things simple so we include all rental fees that are not location based. Delivery cost (based on mileage) and sales tax (based on State regulations) will be the only things that changes. Each trailer comes fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, water and personalized service. If you run out of supplies you can refill our dispensers with standard household toilet paper, Bi fold paper towels, and liquid hand soap. Water tanks can be refilled with a standard hose hook up. Additionally The Posh Privy staff is available 24/7 for emergency services.
Q: How do I order?
A: Once you have decided on a luxury restroom trailer for your porta potty needs you can use our new get quote system to receive a quote and request to book. We will then approve the order and send you a contract and payment portal information which can all be completed online. We charge a 50% deposit at time of order.
Q: Does someone need to be there when the restroom trailer is delivered?
A: It is not required for someone to be there but we highly recommend it. If someone is unable to meet us at the delivery location we request for the drop of location to be clearly marked and to have at least 1 backup location in case the first location is unsuitable, also a contact person need to be available in case of any questions. We also like for someone to be there as we like to meet our clients and show them how the restroom works and where extra supplies are kept.
Q: What are your business hours?
A: Our typical business hours are from 8am-5pm M-F with weekend availability by request.
Q: Do you provide a site attendant?
A: Depending on location, time of the year and attendant requirements we may be able to provide your event with an onsite attendant. Please contact us with details so that we can determine if we are able to provide an onsite attendant.
Q: Do you have TVs in your trailer?
A: None of our trailers have TVs in them. We feel that TVs detract from the ambiance created in our bathrooms and may also cause people to occupy the bathrooms longer than required which will increase the wait times for your other guests. TVs also need quite a bit of power to run, requiring on site electricity.
